Bridget Bancroft is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and musician in Chicago, IL. Her work varies widely in medium, concept and context, however often incorporates text and poetry and muses on how to maintain humanness within neoliberal, capitalist systems. She is currently part of an artist collective called Spaces for Possibility based out of a storefront in Albany Park, Chicago. Bancroft has been an elementary school visual arts teacher for 10 years, and is passionate about public education.
